Custom Backyard 'She Shed' Retreat

This project elevates the 'she shed' concept into a custom-designed and beautifully crafted personal retreat. The structure was built from the ground up to maximize its small footprint with a dramatic, high-volume interior. Inside, a soaring vaulted ceiling finished in crisp white shiplap creates an incredibly open and airy atmosphere, flooded with natural light from high windows. 

The centerpiece of the interior is the substantial sleeping or storage loft, crafted from warm, natural pine. Its exposed wood beams and floorboards, accented with decorative black metal hardware, provide a rich, rustic contrast to the bright white walls. A custom railing with sleek black balusters ensures safety while completing the rustic-modern aesthetic. This charming space is a true backyard oasis, perfect for a studio, office, or quiet escape.
