A Seamless Expansion for Modern Functionality

Guided by a detailed architectural plan, this project involved a thoughtful single-story addition to a classic colonial home, designed to enhance daily functionality while maintaining a timeless aesthetic. The new structure was flawlessly integrated with the original house, meticulously matching the siding, trim, and rooflines. This well-planned addition created several highly practical new spaces, including a welcoming covered side porch, a much-needed mudroom with a pantry, and a quiet home office. 

The new footprint also includes a stylish powder room, which features a handsome dark green vanity with a distinctive cross-buck design. A small modification to the kitchen, adding a warm butcher block counter section, completed this seamless and valuable expansion of the home's main-floor living space.
