Attic Transformation to Rustic Game Room

This project is a complete transformation of a vast, unfinished attic into a custom-designed game room with a unique rustic-modern aesthetic. We converted the raw space into a warm and inviting retreat by embracing its architectural character. The sloped knee walls are clad in beautiful, multi-toned reclaimed barn wood, adding incredible texture and a sense of history. 

This stunning rustic element is carried overhead into a large tray ceiling feature, creating a dramatic focal point. A sophisticated, multi-layered lighting design is key, with hidden cove lighting illuminating the ceiling tray and custom uplights installed directly into the floor to graze the textured wood walls with a warm glow. New hardwood floors complete this stylish and highly functional bonus room, perfect for entertainment and relaxation.
